Congratulations! You have selected a beautiful new wig and bad hair days are now a thing of the past! A good quality, natural-looking wig is an investment, and learning to care for it properly will keep your wig looking beautiful for the longest time.
Things to Consider:
Whether you Choose a Human Hair or Synthetic wig, here are some important reminders:
1. Always be gentle when handling your wig. When brushing, washing or styling your wig, never handle your wig roughly.
2. To create the most natural appearance, many wigs feature areas of thin, delicate material, such as a lace front. Do not pull on the lace front area to avoid damage. Adjust the wig by holding the ear tabs.
3. Use the correct products. It is always best to use care products designed for your wig to avoid damaging your wig fibers or cap.
4. Detangle daily! After each wearing, check your wig for tangles. Use a wig detangling spray and a wide tooth comb to gently untangle the hair. Always work from the bottom up.
5. Avoid friction - do not sleep in your wig (if bonded, wrap with a silk scarf). Avoid hats and headbands. Do not let your hair get trapped under clothing, purse straps or seatbelts.
6. Store your wig on a wig stand, a box or a silk bag in a cool, dry environment. Do not put your wig away wet.
7. Consult the experts – you wig specialist can give you specific instructions on how to best care for your wig. Give your wig a spa day – drop it off for a p
Human Hair
Cleanse & Condition
Before washing your human hair wig, gently remove any tangles with a paddle brush or wide tooth comb. Work from ends to root. If necessary, spray with a detangling spray first.
Hold wig or hairpiece under cool running water.
Gently lather the hair with a capful of human hair wig shampoo while making sure that the hair is traveling in the same direction. DO NOT rub hair as this may cause tangling.
Rinse thoroughly in cool water until the water runs clear.
Apply a human hair wig conditioner, avoiding the base cap of the wig (applying conditioner to the base of the cap may weaken the knots).
With your fingers, work conditioner through the ends of the hair for about 3-5 minutes Rinse thoroughly in cold water until the water runs clear.
Spray ends with leave-in conditioner
We recommend washing your wig every 6-14 wears.
Styling
Let your wig air dry until about ¾ of the way dry. (Squeeze hair with paper towels to remove excess moisture to speed this process.)
For a sleek smooth look, apply a blow-dry balm and blow out using a boar bristle brush. Finish with a flat iron.
For a more relaxed beach wave, you can apply a mousse and scrunch the hair while using a blow-dryer with a diffuser.
For curls, use a curling iron, flat iron or hot rollers on dry hair to achieve desired style.
Always use a medium setting with human hair – about 300 degrees.
Deep Conditioning
· An occasional deep conditioning treatment will keep your wig soft and supple.
· Dampen the wig then apply a mixture of cream conditioner and argan oil. Work the conditioner from mid shaft to ends of hair (avoid roots)
· Wrap the wig in a damp towel and heat with a blow dryer for 20 minutes (For best results place under a stand dryer)
· Rinse and style as usual.
Synthetic Hair
WashingShampoo as needed – approximately every 7-15 wearings.
• Remove any tangles with a wide tooth comb before washing
• Fill a basin with COLD water and a quarter-size amount of synthetic shampoo.
• Place wig in basin and allow to soak for 5-30 minutes.
• Rinse with cool water
• Blot gently with a dry towel. Mist with leave-in wig conditioner, and drape on drying stand
Styling
Curly Styles: Shake wig to revive style, then use a wig pick or your fingers to gently fluff curls into place. Use curling spray and scrunch for tighter curls.
·
Wavy Styles: Shake wig to revive style, use a comb or your fingers to place waves in place. For a curlier look, use wig curling spray or mousse and scrunch, for a smoother look, spray with leave-in conditioner and comb with a wide tooth comb.

• When hair is completely dry, style as usual. (We recommend drying overnight)
